Yea, This list got out of hand. I started by listing all of my favorite films and then ranking them. Really only the top 60 are properly ranked. I have not put as much thought into the bottom 60 or so.

My only flaw is that I do not put much stock in comedies. I like to watch comedies but if you notice I have not ranked any. For some reason I think the other categories are more serious or credible.

Thanks for your list.

your list just goes to show me how many movies i haven't watched..in my teens with a very over protective father i didn't go anywhere..no movies..and in my twenties i was already in a very controlled marriage and busy having babies and of course always sick with something...no movies..it has been in the last 3 or 4 yrs really that i have began watching anything and everything and yet i have many more to go...

i will have to make my own list and i will share it with you..mine will probably have lots of Disney film though, ;0, lol..

Good to see Aliens and Conan get a nod. No Saving Private Ryan or Glory though?

Chana,
If you want to watch some great films start at #1 and work your way down.

I did forget Saving Private Ryan and Glory, both terrific films!
