Tennessee Day 1

Saturday, September 23, 2006
We made it to Franklin TN, which is where we are staying for the night. We managed to see Adams, TN where the infamous Bell Witch haunted and eventually killed John Bell. Then we drove to Nashville where we saw the Country Music Hall of Fame and ate an awesome BBQ dinner at Jack’s on Broadway.

This is the oldest documented haunted house in America.

A wall of gold records.

A picture of me at the historic Bell Witch marker.

The Nashville skyline near the Gaylord Center where the Predators play hockey.

Tomorrow I should be checking in from fucking Knoxville.

Chana,
I am glad you are enjoying because I am enjoying bringing them to you. I have a Flickr account under darthimmortal, you can see some pics from the last vacation.

Mimi,
Shaun of the Dead is one of my all time favorite movies. Then difference between the Blair Witch and the Bell Witch is the Bell Witch is supposed to be a true story. Even Andrew Jackson was terrorized by this ghost and fled from the area. He was later asked about his experiences and he said that he would rather face an entire regiment of Confederate troops rather than confront the Bell Witch again.

How do you like those TN drivers? We go through Nashville to get to Savannah. We've stayed there for many weekends. I love Nashville and Chattanooga. I hope you are having a wonderful time.

I have always wanted to see the Bell Witch cave, did you guys go there?

Have fun!

Barbarian,
The cave was flooded due to the rain so we did not get to see it. But the actual house is outside the Adams Museum and not on the Cave property.

Tennessee drivers are no worse than Missouri drivers. The worst drivers are in California though.
